Hoffman Estates, Links Inc.

 

Hoffman Estates is a chapter of the Links Incorporated which is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946 on the premises of friendship and service.  It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

LINKS PROGRAMMING

The outstanding programming of The Links, Incorporated includes five facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and ServicesInternational Trends and Servicesand Health and Human Services.

The Hoffman Estates Chapter of the Links Inc. services the Elgin and Northwest Suburban communities of Chicago, IL The Hoffman Estates Chapter is one of eight chapters in the Chicagoland community.  Other chapters include: Chicago Illinois Chapter, Harbor-Lites, Lake Shore, North Shore, South Suburban Chicago, West Towns and Windy City. The Hoffman Estates Chapter of The Links, Inc. is a service organization.  We sponsor numerous charitable, educational and cultural programs that benefit the African American community.  We are an organization of accomplished, dedicated women who volunteer their time helping those who are less fortunate in our respective community service areas. We sponsor one fund raiser annually, “Jazzin' & Steppin' into Fashion.”  Proceeds generated from this benefit enhance our five facets: The Arts, National Trends & Services, Health & Human Services, Services to Youth and International Trends.
